Product Manager AMiS productline

The mission of Alphatron Medical is ‘Creating Flow in Healthcare’. Alphatron Medical Innovations is the developer and producer of intelligent computers on wheels (COWs) and of smart medication distribution trolleys under the brand name AMiS. Based on customer requirements, AMiS are assembled in Rotterdam and sold to hospitals in Europe via an international dealer network.

AMiS is the most important product group of Alphatron Medical Innovations. Besides the continuous improvement of the AMiS product line the engineers of Alphatron Medical Innovations are engaged in new product developments. Often these are innovations based on a combination of medical hardware and software solutions. To bring these innovations to the market, we are looking for a driven Product Manager, who supervises the development team and supports the sales and marketing teams. The position is for 40 hours a week.

Product Manager AMiS product line

As Product Manager, you are responsible for the development and successful launch of (medical) products. You regularly visit hospitals in Western Europe to collect input and translate this into a roadmap. Together with the Engineers and suppliers of components, you develop prototypes and guide new concepts through the test and pilot phases. In consultation with the International Sales Manager, you determine the international market strategy and ensure a successful introduction of the product. Together with the marketeers, you prepare marketing campaigns to bring this product to the attention. You give product trainings to the dealer sales teams and together with the International Sales Manager, you support them in their sales to healthcare institutions.

The Product Manager AMiS product line works closely with a team of Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, other Product Managers, Marketers and International Sales Managers. The work takes place from the beautiful Alphatron Medical headquarters in Rotterdam. The Product Manager is part of a product management team, in which each Product Manager is individually responsible for his own product line. The Product Manager reports to the Division Manager.

The most important tasks consist of:

-Market research in hospitals in Europe
-Defining product strategy and roadmap
-Leading design and development teams
-Intensive contact with hospitals to test prototypes in practice
-Building and maintaining development and test files
-Determine product portfolio, prices, market and promotion campaigns
-Keeping abreast of legislation and regulations and developments in the field of medical –ICT and care processes
-Representing Alphatron Medical at international MedTech exhibitions
-Give presentations about the solutions to dealers and hospitals in Europe

Someone who likes to get things done

As Product Manager you are fascinated by the development of products for medical care. For the benefit of medication safety and optimising the nursing process. You develop concepts based on the demand in the healthcare sector and, together with the R&D team, convert them into new products and innovations. You have an independent attitude and enjoy being the driving force behind the realisation of useful concepts.

-A completed (technical) WO degree
-Good organisational skills and the ability to work together
-Result-oriented, independent work attitude and perseverance

Implementation Consultant

Do you like the idea of connecting medical hardware to the EHR?

An essential function at an innovative MedTech company

The mission of Alphatron Medical is ‘Creating Flow in Healthcare’. Alphatron Medical Innovations is developing an intelligent software platform called AMiSconnect.

The AMiSconnect platform connects various Electronic Patient Files (EPDs) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS) with hardware such as mobile care stations for nursing, medical diagnostic equipment and self-measurement kiosks. The software is now used in many hospitals in the Netherlands and abroad. The applications support hospital staff in making the right diagnoses, administering the right medication and ensuring the safety of treatment. All this in an optimal workflow for the healthcare professional.

Implementation Consultant

The Implementation Consultant is part of the software team of Alphatron Medical Innovations. This team takes care of the development of the platform and leads the implementation of the software in hospitals. As Implementation Consultant, you advise on the design of the software and implement the software in the ICT environment of hospitals in the Netherlands and abroad. In addition, you play a key role in providing support after the platform has been implemented at these international dealers and customers.

The work takes place from Alphatron Medical’s beautiful head office in Rotterdam and from home. It is a position for 40 hours.

Your main tasks consist of:

-Providing input for plan of approach, functional and technical design
-Implementing the software in ICT environments within a hospital in cooperation with  project managers working at resellers of Alphatron Medical Innovations
-Provide technical and functional software support to resellers and end-users
-Providing essential feedback to the development department on any deviations and     possible improvements in the software
-Assisting resellers with updating and configuring demo systems
-Collaborating with the technical hardware team
-Registering and updating support information and calls

An Implementation Consultant who likes to make an important contribution

As an Implementation Consultant you like to learn. In your first months you follow the Alphatron Academy and you learn about ICT environments in hospitals. You work together in a small team with experienced consultants who think about how a software implementation can best be carried out technically. You have an independent attitude and enjoy working to achieve meaningful innovations.

Furthermore, we ask of you:

-A completed HBO education
-Critical thinking and work attitude
-Experience with programs in an ICT environment, such as Virtual Desktops, Active Directory, https, Java, MSSQL
-Good command of the Dutch and English language
-Experience with communication protocols within the healthcare sector (such as HL7, FHIR, OIDC) is a plus

Assembly Employee

A hands on position at an innovative MedTech company

The mission of Alphatron Medical is ‘Creating Flow in Healthcare’. Alphatron Medical Innovations is the developer and producer of the AMiS and the Alviscan. The AMiS is the intelligent computer on wheels (COW) for hospitals. Based on the wishes of the customer, the AMiS healthcare station is assembled and sold to hospitals all over the world. The AMiS are built in the assembly lines of Alphatron Medical Innovations, as well as the medication module that can be linked to the AMiS.

Assembly Worker

As Assemblage Employee you ensure that the products are assembled exactly according to the high quality standards of Alphatron Medical Innovations. The products consist of mechanical and electrical components together with medical and IT equipment. You pick different parts of the order from the racks and use them to assemble the final products.

As an Assembler you will be in close contact with the Warehouse Co-worker, the Inside Sales Co-worker and the Engineers.

The work takes place in the warehouse and in the assembly lines of the Alphatron Medical office in Rotterdam. It is a full-time position for 40 hours.

The main tasks consist of:

-Picking assembly parts from the warehouse
-Assembling parts of the AMiS care station
-Assembling the entire AMiS care station and medication modules
-Executing quality controls based on checklists
-Identifying, reporting and repairing errors
-Executing safety tests

An energetic doer with a heart for care
As an Assembler, you are precise and energetic. With your attitude, you know how to take on challenges. You have an independent attitude, can work according to procedures and have an affinity with technology.

-A completed technical education
-Valid NEN 3140 certificate for electrical installations is a plus

Java Full-stack Developer

A cool job at an innovative MedTech company

To expand the platform with new applications and to increase the connectivity with hospital information systems abroad, we need your support as a Java Full-stack Developer.

Java Full-stack Developer

The Java Full-stack Developer is the all-round software developer, who works with the product owner and chief developer to code, test and customize new applications for the platform. As a thought leader, you ensure that we always work with state-of-the-art solutions. You choose and test approaches, technologies and modules that make our product more meaningful. Ideally, you will be familiar with the open source scene and software architecture and know which projects are relevant in the areas of load balancers, encrypted communication and SSO.

The Java Full-stack Developer is part of an international Agile team of developers called BeRosys, based in Berlin and Rotterdam. The work takes place from Alphatron Medical’s head office in Rotterdam and from home. Occasionally you will have a physical meeting in Germany with your colleagues from Berlin. The position is for 40 hours.

 

A socially engaged Software Developer

As a Developer, you are fascinated by developing software with real added value for healthcare. You enjoy working in a small team and thinking about the best technologies and architecture to apply. You have an independent attitude and enjoy working to achieve meaningful innovations.

Furthermore, we ask of you:

-A completed HBO or WO degree in computer science, medical informatics or similar
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Java and experience in developing scalable client-server systems
-Critical thinking and work attitude
-Experience in solutions for robust, modular architectures
-Good communication skills in English
